Survive

I Survived, though now with scars and a battered body, I still remain. I am still here, alive and breathing. I survived, and endured, and now I am living.

idea came from a conversation with a friend about how self harm scars are a sign of survival, not a sign of failure.
I've been wanting to do a piece over this topic for a while but never new how to express it.
the colors and inspiration came from VCR-WOLFE and their gorgeous goretober art, thank you so much for inspiring me to finally draw this.
